RE-INTERPRETATIONS OF OLD WESTERN MOVIE SONGS

Daniel Robbins, Violin

Daniel Robbins is developing a CD of re-interpretations of Old Western Movie Songs, including:

Daniel Robbins has played violin at historic lodges and resorts. For eight seasons he played 5 days per week at the historic lodge, the Many Glacier Hotel in Glacier National Park, featured on PBS' documentary series 'Great Lodges of the National Parks,' by Ken Burns. He also played regularly at Ducey's on the Lake, a fine dining restaurant at The Pines Resort, south of Yosemite National Park in central California. He often lives just beside where he plays, in some of the most beautiful parts of the country.

A graduate of Bowdoin College, Dan also studied at Lacoste School of the Arts in France, Kinhaven Music School in Weston, Vermont and Meadowmount School of Music in Westport, New York. He has played violin in Germany and France as well as in the USA, and enjoys playing classical music and hymns as well as fiddle, showtunes, standards and improvisations.
